Doona Car Seat: Why I Chose it for Baby #3

My current LIFESTYLE: as a mom of soon 3, I do 10-15min car rides max. Quick outings, frequently: School drop offs & pick ups. Gym. Friend meet ups. Groceries. Parks. Etc! Baby girl will be coming with me everywhere and so, I knew I needed a car seat that I could easily take on-the-go. And what more convenient car seat than one with collapsible wheels and a telescoping handle that allow it to become a compact stroller itself?
CONVENIENCE: again, I won’t even have to worry about bringing the stroller to every quick outing. I won’t have to fit the bulky stroller legs in the trunk even (which take so much space). And I won’t have to do the logistics of taking the stroller legs out of the trunk, while worrying about two other kids. Much quicker & easier.
REPLACES THE INFANT CAR SEAT COMPLETELY. It’s for babies 4-35 lbs (and up to 32 inches, but plan to outgrow around the 1-1.5yo mark). So I’ll be able to use it from newborn to young toddler and then can move onto a regular toddler rear facing seat.
SAFETY. It’s got all the safety ratings you could hope for in a car seat, with side impact protection comparable to other leading car seat brands and a 5-star safety rating in frontal collision tests.
TRAVEL. The fact that you can literally go from a car seat to a very compact stroller within seconds makes it a clear winner for travel too. And you guys know we love to travel often! And although it comes with a base you can also use it directly on any car with the seat belt, and without the base.Doo
BONUS: it doesn’t hurt that it arrives fully assembled and, it’s stylish too! Many other colors available.
Now, this doesn’t replace my main stroller which I will be using for my daily looooong neighborhood walks 🥰
