Wow where to begin! This trip was incredible and beyond what I expected. The perfect family resort and getaway.
Above all, I am obsessed with Cabo destination because it is just a 2h flight from LAX and there's no time change this half of the year, making the travel and transition so so smooth with kids, which is essential.
But Four Seasons Los Cabos is THE place to take your next family vacation if you are looking for luxurious relaxation mixed with family fun. The best of both worlds, if you ask me.
Located at the Baja Peninsula’s undiscovered East Cape (an hour away from the main cities and resort areas Cabo San Lucas & San Jose del Cabo) with the most expansive beach with two miles of calm, swimmable beach which is perfect for the little ones and so hard to find in Cabo.
The resort offers private shuttle airport pickup/drop off with car seat option included, and a complimentary kids club for kids 4-12 open 9am to 5pm that has a new activity every hour including arts & crafts, outdoor sports and movie time. The kids loved going there for a sun break & do fun activities and hey, mom and dad got an hour alone here and there. Win win.
There are also many complimentary activities like stand-up paddle board, kayaking, billiards, ping pong, beach volleyball, Xbox, an arcade game and much more to keep kids all ages entertained.
And something that we absolutely loved was the fact they have complimentary bikes for all guests (kids too) so you can freely move around the resort. A great option along the golf cart. The kids loved it!
If you have babies or toddlers they also offer babysitting services. As well as have a long list of children amenities at your disposal including:
- Swimming diapers
- Child size bathrobes and slipped
- Toiletries
- Childproofing items
- Diaper genies in room
- Pack and play
- High chairs
- Cribs
- Rollaway beds
- Bottles
- Bottle warmers
- Bottle sterilizers
- Step stools
- White noise machines
- And even nursing pillows
Making your life easy traveling with kids, so everyone can enjoy the vacation to the fullest!
Some other tips if you plan to travel here:
Buffet breakfast at Milos is the place to start your day. Kids under 4 eat free and there’s so much beach space for them to run around supervised while parents finish coffee in peace.
There are six pools all around the resort but my favorite are the private Arroyo pools and the Ocean pool that offer quiet seclusion and a refreshingly intimate oasis all to yourself. And you can order lunch poolside, which is always a win with kids.
Make sure to ask staff for the daily activities they offer (aside from the water activities I shared) they have complimentary cooking classes, yoga classes, wine tasting, skincare classes and so much more!! The sushi class was amazing and they accommodated the kids too.
All resort guests can utilize the SPA amenities without an appointment needed. Definitely stop by to enjoy the sauna, steam room & hydrotherapy whirlpools.
Pool plunge rooms are perfection with kids so you can utilize the outdoor space while they nap or go to sleep early.
You cannot miss the taxi boat to restaurant Mozza, an amazing Italian restaurant in front of the marina and the perfect evening adventure with the family too.
We scheduled all dinners at 6:30 to catch the sunsets and be back in the room by 8 just in time for kids bedtime
May-October is low season here (people typically escape the winter months instead) so the resort is way calmer during these months of the year. I highly recommend you looking into these months because this relaxation and privacy is totally priceless. And currently they have three offers:
A third night FREE
A second room 50% off perfect for big families
If you make your reservation with at least 7 days in advanced you get up to 25% off
AND You can book free or at a discounted rate using travel reward points with this card (the one I use and book so much free travel: hotels & flights mainly, highly recommend and when you enroll with this link you get 60,000 bonus points)
