UPPAbaby VISTA Stroller Review

Updated: May 4, 2020

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was immediately impressed by this stroller, and after two months of usage, I am truly in love.

The first thing I noticed was how smooth & easy it was to maneuver, how much basket space there was and, how comfortable Sofia was: it definitely makes it an easy everyday stroller for city, errands, as well as off-road trips.

Before having it, I already loved the fact that it can convert into a double stroller. We eventually want to grow our family and this s which is great for those, adapting up to three kids (with some additional purchases). Definitely a good option, even if you don't know if you'll want more kids yet. Plus, it becomes a NARROW double stroller (I don't like the wide double strollers mainly because they are hard to fit through doors).

Another incredible fact to highlight is that, the roomy Bassinet comes included and, it is breathable and safe for overnight sleep. They grow out of the Bassinet when they are 20lbs or when they can push up with their hands, whatever comes first. So you can def use it a few months. Shop the mattress cover here.

The wheels and suspension are multi-functional & have a shock-absorbing suspension put on all four wheels, which means that they are made to handle all types of terrain and ensure the minis have a pleasant ride with less shaking. And as I mentioned, that was one of the first things I realized! So smooth, and even pushing & controlling the turns with one hand is easy.

There are also a few different positions you can adjust the seat to, much more customizable than other strollers, which make it easier for the baby to be comfy as he/she grows too. Plus, the harness is easy to adjust and padded to adapt through growth as well.

The break is another excellent feature, a foot-operated pedal that locks the rear wheels and to unlock, you simply tap again. Easy to do, even bare foot, and really efficient. It also has green and red indicators so you can ensure of its position.

This stroller is made as a travel-system for specific car seats such as the UPPAbaby MESA car seat and the Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Cybex and Chicco seats. Which to me, is a must: you don't need to wake your baby taking them out of the car seat and putting them in the Bassinet. Great for quick errands in and out of the car, for example.

And, despite it being a very popular stroller, there are so many colors to choose from, each is so unique. I am obsessed with the new leather handlebar & the color combos that give the stroller a very sophisticated look. Plus, it is incredibly easy to extend for parents of different height. The handle just telescopes in and out of the frame.

As I mentioned previously, the storage is one of the biggest I have ever seen. Perfect to store your diaper bag, snacks, blanket, shopping bags... you can truly go grocery shopping even, capacity is 30lbs and it is super accessible especially from the back (it includes two little pockets, perfect for keys, water bottle or phone).

You can also add some extras like Cup Holder or Snack Tray, which in my opinion, are the only 2 extras you'll need.

The materials are very high-quality and you can tell just by looking and feeling it, it truly can last for years in great shape. The seat is nicely padded and the fabrics are mat. The frame is made of aluminum and magnesium, very durable and light, less susceptible to scratch than previous models too.

The stroller weighs a total of 26.6lbs with the seat and 28.1lbs with the Bassinet, def not the lightest stroller in the market (but my Stokke was WAY heavier) but the easy maneuvering and smoothness do truly make up for it. Plus, it folds super simple (the new stroller is even easier, and can be done with one hand) and has a latch that holds it folded so it can stand on its own.

There are tons of seating combinations, which makes it easy to adapt to your day to day necessities. And, so many combinations as a double stroller too.

The Toddler Seat can hold up to 50lbs, and you can purchase the SnugSeat here to make sure they are cozy when they begin sitting in it.

And, as a single stroller can be front or rear facing, easy to switch too.

Another FAQ I got was: what are the main differences from the newest to the older models? Simple: Since 2015 the updates are fashions, there are not any major updates to the functionality. PS: If you want to use an infant car seat or the bassinet when the VISTA is a double, you'll need to purchase the UPPAbaby upper adapters and, for some configurations, the lower adapters. To do the double stroller combo, you need both adapters. Shop lower adapters here Shop upper adapters here

And finally, you can even add a PiggyBack ride for an older kid, you can add this to the single or double stroller, so you can technically push up to three kids! Here to shop.
