Recap Family Babymoon Part 1: Langham Pasadena Resort

Celebrating the last few months as a family of 4, while unwinding and relaxing with as many local weekend staycaytions as possible and Langham resort gave us the opportunity to do just that with it's 23 acres of lush, calm, dreamy environment.

There are two pools to enjoy, The Lanai pool is the original one, historic, charming, with serene, luxurious vibes, a true LA landmark where I found most people to gather in. But the newest pool, The Royce, a true resort style pool, much bigger with plenty of space to refresh and lounge. Both offer incredible poolside full food & drink menus (which we enjoyed every day for lunch) and both are great for families.

And although my husband and I took turns to be with the kids at the pool so he could work/workout and I could go to the Spa (heaven, their signature treatments are all inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine), I truly love this age because even when alone, I got to sit back and relax watching them while they play.

There are also many wellness amenities like tennis courts, Jacuzzis, complimentary bike rentals, a fitness center scheduled fitness classes including yoga, Reformer Pilates, Tai Chi... and I started my Saturday with a sound bath while daddy took the kids on a scavenger hunt around the hotel.

Our room was the Deluxe Patio which included a blissful patio and views to the gardens, the perfect spot for room service breakfast and dinner. Mom and dad had dinner under the stars after the kids went to sleep and it was so peaceful.

We truly came back renewed body, mind and soul, and the kids had a BLAST! Another family trip full of beautiful memories on the books.

And by the way, if you are local and want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can also purchase a day pass.

Very informative post. The way you described attention and coordination made everything feel clear. It reminded me of rhythm games where small mistakes matter. I’ve been exploring geometry lite gameplay, and it’s a fun way to improve reflexes over time.

this recap of the family babymoon at the Langham Pasadena Resort was such a warm and relatable read, I love how it doesn’t just list the places you visited but really captures the feelings and little moments — from enjoying the resort amenities to slowing down and actually spending quality time together before the baby arrives — it feels like something a friend would share instead of just a travel blog, the way the post talks about balancing relaxation, food, and exploration makes the whole experience sound both thoughtful and achievable without pressure, it reminded me that taking meaningful breaks with loved ones can make big life transitions feel more joyful instead of just stressful, reading something like this also made…
