Why You Should Fly With Level Airlines & Some Tricks: Cheaper Rates, Top Comfort

We have flown with Level airlines 4 consecutive years now, all 12h routes, and we've always had an incredible experience! Here's why:

  • They offer tons of direct routes that other airlines dont. For example, LAX-BCN Level is the ONLY airline that offers this route that of course, is so important to me connecting two huge cities. But they also offer incredible routes like BCN--> Miami, NYC, SF, Boston (connecting major US cities to my gorgeous home town of Barcelona so you can also explore!) as well as BCN--> Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile!

  • The airline is considered low cost, but offers tailored fairs to your needs: - LIGHT Simple: you pay for what you are interested in at the lowest fair - COMFORT it includes luggage checked in x 1 and menu - EXTRA includes everything you need for more flexibility (changing and canceling your flights) choosing seat, luggage x2, and food. This is the tickets we get. So you can find these long haul flights starting at $250 each way! Even on peak season like summer, you can find GREAT deals.

  • The seats are super spacious and even though it's a low cost airline, there's nothing lacking: screens are big,

  • But if you want extra comfort they also offer two more spacious options - PREMIUM COMFORT it includes everything but with more space too - PREMIUM EXTRA more space, and all of the comforts in a more private cabin (we have also flown here and it was VERY spacious, bigger TVs and more food and snacks included, foot rest, highly recommend especially when you have a kid on lap like I did then)

  • There's also wifi and entertainment on board which makes the trip so much faster, and there are so many movies & tv shows to choose from, including for kids!

  • If you are a family of 4 I love that there are 4 seats in the middle, all together, which makes it so comfy for all, and this airline also allows the kids bed we use, which makes the trip SO SMOOTH with little ones! They are so comfortable and sleep so well.

  • Us parents go pretty comfy too, I actually love that Level has a head rest that is adjustable and can also hold your head perfectly making sleep sooooo much more doable!

  • If you get food included, I also love that you can pre-select the EXACT meals everyone on your family will get so you know you will for sure enjoy it. And, you can easily upgrade to even more premium meals with just a few dollars more, so there's truly a lot to choose from!

  • And if you don't get food included, on board, you can also purchase from their meal and snack selection which actually is a pretty great and wide one.

  • While we typically try to book using the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card booking portal — and get 5x points on our travel, and you can find LEVEL/IBERIA there too. But, if you prefer to book directly through their website, you can also use the Chase card to get x5 points back for future hotel or airline travels! Win win. Get your card here.

Had a fantastic experience with Level Airlines on long-haul flights – their direct routes and flexible fares are a game changer. This reminds me of the satisfying challenge in the arrow puzzle – simple yet rewarding!

I particularly loved the "pro-tips" section. Suggesting a flight from Boston to save a couple hundred dollars over JFK is exactly the kind of "travel hack" that makes a blog worth following. The advice on being flexible with dates and packing your own snacks to avoid the "nickel-and-diming" on board is super practical.I’ve been using this Gradient Background Tool for a while now, and it has genuinely simplified my design-to-code workflow.

It’s rare to find a guide that moves past the generic "book early" advice and actually dives into the mechanics of maximizing value on long-haul budget carriers. Planning, researching, and eventually executing a travel itinerary is incredibly taxing on the brain. Whenever I find myself deep in the weeds of travel logistics—or just needing to decompress after the inevitable stress of navigating airline websites—I have a go-to ritual to hit the "reset button." I like to take a quick break and play a few rounds of FishEatFish.
