I made a FULL list of essentials for birth AND hospital stays, you can simply adapt it to your scenario.

For example, I personally don't give birth in the hospital. I go to the birthing center instead, so I don't stay there more than 2-4hours after delivery. So there are a lot of things I personally don't need to bring, or need to bring less off. So edit as you wish!

Note: A lot of hospitals DO provide with a ton of essentials, some (or birthing centers) don't, so ask what they'll be providing you with, before packing.
