Self-Care Post Baby

Maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself after having a baby is extra important because all of the sudden, we put someone else first, always. And while it’s hard to prioritize something like taking a bubble bath alone when you have so many other items on your to-do list, self-care is an important aspect of stress management, and it reduces emotional and physical anxiety & exhaustion.

Including these type of activities daily also improves confidence, self-esteem, energy, mood and allows us to continue with our busy lifestyles feeling good.

Plus, taking time to care for yourself regularly can also make you a better caretaker.

Doing self care activities daily doesn’t mean taking an hour or two per day, everyday, to focus on you. It can be as simple as including regular mind & body life habits such as eating healthy, exercising, going to bed earlier, a good skincare routine... and of course the occasional massages, pampering sessions, books, a walk with music or meditating.

It can mean 5min today, and 30min tomorrow. It can mean absolutely nothing today, and a full hour tomorrow. As long as we are conscious about squeezing in these type of activities here and there, we’ll get the benefits!

Here is a full list to a bunch of self-care activities you can include on your day to day!
